Curious about some of the Lower East Side's newest neighbors? Join The Paul Taylor Dance Foundation for a brief performance and discussion with theater expert Steve Nelson and the Taylor 2 Dance Company on November 30th at 7 pm. Choreographer Paul Taylor creates dances that draw upon a wide range of cultural sources--contemporary events, social and political issues, popular entertainment-- and incorporates these in works that are both private and public in their origins and content.

Food trucks are the new New York way to eat! The Palenque Homemade Colombian Food will be present on November 30 from 6:30 to 8:30pm for those wishing to purchase snacks.

Paul Taylor Dance Foundation

Paul Taylor helped establish modern dance as one of the foremost American art forms through his virtuosic and lyrical movement invention, his intuitive musicality, his portrayals of humanity and his early explorations of pedestrian movement. Under Mr. Taylor's leadership, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, now in its 58th year, has performed in more than 540 cities in over 64 countries. The Company holds its self-produced New York season at Lincoln Center. Mr. Taylor has choreographed 136 works to date. The six-member company, Taylor 2, was established to bring dance to venues with less production capability and to provide outreach and arts education activities across the world.
